How to install new fonts for Alfresco

I have a problem that documents written in another font appear as default font in Alfresco. My questions:
How can I install the font so that Alfresco won't convert the documents?
If installed will the system recognize the installed font or not? Is this possible?
Please provide some kind of guidance :)
